In that boring part of the cycle…

2 11 2012

… that part where you really don’t have much to do but wait.  Not as bad as the 2ww of course… but still.. each morning I do my tiny lupron shot, I take all my supplements, and that’s it.  I am just poking along, hoping that my follicles are coasting quietly, not being troublemakers, not getting stale or bored or whatever… just hoping they’re patiently reserving their strength for a solid, fabulous, energetic and chromosomally normal growth spurt… to culminate in hopefully lots of sassy, smart, vigorous eggs on 11/29…

AND… I’m feeling pretty fat.  I have no excuse for being such a schmuck about the gluten free thing (er, the eating gluten whenever I want thing, really…)  My ovaries are small, there’s nothing going on in there, so my tummy is really just from fat.  I’ve started to fixate on how it feels when I breathe; it’s like my stomach has so much fat in it, it’s compressing my lungs and I need to slurp in a BIG breath every once in a while.  Realistically I’m just 10 lbs heavier than my “used to be” normal weight (which in turn was 10 lbs higher than my “I feel good in my skin” weight… aka 3 years ago weight… sigh)  But that 10-20 lbs makes a big difference when you’re short and squatty like me.  I just am so busy at work (that I shouldn’t be blogging) that I can’t go to my lunchtime gym class.  And I’m so often cycling to make EGGS, that I can’t be training jiu jitsu all the time like I used to.

So… fat.  Fluffy.  Breathless.  And blogging.

Back to work!

He & Me Plus 3: Life With Triplets Un-wrapped

Okay, so, it’s not like I think everything I say and do is so damn awesome that everyone should know about it. In a blog. It’s just that as if being blind, and a vegetarian, with anxiety/OCD, and having the ability to accidentally break almost anything, and not liking chocolate, would be enough. But no. I also have to have IVF. Could I be any more minority? So it’s like god is playing one big joke on me… and I am not going down without a fight. In fact, God, I’m going to tell your mum on you. Well I would if my knowledge of religion was good enough for me to figure out who your mum is. Eve? Is it Eve? Well, Eve, this is what your son has been up to, and God, I just got you grounded pretty much forever. In your face, God. Ha.
