My personal update….

22 10 2012

Well, amazingly I’m just about to start stims for my second ER with Dr. Braverman!  I go in for my baseline US and bloodwork tomorrow morning, and start lupron on Wednesday!  ER scheduled for 11/29!

I’m very happy to get moving on this and very optimistic.  I need to clean up my eating act, been not at all gluten free 😦  But I am taking all my supplements and metformin and prednisone and whatnot.. and I’m pitching Dr. B to give me another IL infusion before we re-do the immune assay.  I have to hope that plus the prednisone has some effect.. and with my husband still worrying about a possible layoff, I would rather avoid the expense of IVIg if I can.  We hope insurance will cover it, but that’s up in the air, of course.

I am so excited and happy for lots of my girlfriends who are either pregnant, just got ET’s, or are starting their cycles.  I am equally sad for several of them who didn’t get the positive results they’d hoped for recently.  And I’m triple-worried about a few gals I’ve just met who are fighting upwards through the “concrete” of resistant REs.  I pray for all of you.

I didn’t realize you were doing another ER via Dr. Braverman? Best of luck! Are you doing CCS testing too? If you get a moment, please e-mail me at Thanks 🙂

He & Me Plus 3: Life With Triplets Un-wrapped

Okay, so, it’s not like I think everything I say and do is so damn awesome that everyone should know about it. In a blog. It’s just that as if being blind, and a vegetarian, with anxiety/OCD, and having the ability to accidentally break almost anything, and not liking chocolate, would be enough. But no. I also have to have IVF. Could I be any more minority? So it’s like god is playing one big joke on me… and I am not going down without a fight. In fact, God, I’m going to tell your mum on you. Well I would if my knowledge of religion was good enough for me to figure out who your mum is. Eve? Is it Eve? Well, Eve, this is what your son has been up to, and God, I just got you grounded pretty much forever. In your face, God. Ha.
